Svalbard Amatørradioklubb

The “Svalbard Amatørradioklubb – SARK” (Svalbard Amateur Radio Club) is a club for Ham radio operators in Svalbard (Spitsbergen).

We are also known as “Svalbardgruppen av NRRL” as we are also a local group of the national organization “Norwegian Radio Relay League – NRRL”.

The club situated in the settlement Longyearbyen. Longyearbyen is located on the Norwegian island Spitsbergen in the Svalbard archipelago. Our Club Station has the locator JQ78tf.

We have a VHF repeater situated on the mountain Skolten, 1130 m a.s.l. (JQ88hd)
